I think you may have added the extra CUC codon (the one in brackets), but besides that, everything else makes sense!
I'm not really sure where you see the extra CUC codon because I reworked it out with the DNA strand that I posted and I didn't have an extra "are." I even looked over your own work and the only time the CUC is doubled is when you're typing the words out. You must have just slid the letters over after staring at them for so long. I know it's possible. Thanks for solving it though!
Just goes to show that mutations can happen during the translation and transcription process as well! Otherwise, good code and good decode.
